How does ChargeUps work?+
Search chargers in your area, request a booking (or instantly book where available), then arrive and plug in. Payment is handled securely in-app.
How do hosts get paid?+
Hosts connect a bank account via Stripe. After every completed session, earnings are transferred automatically — no invoicing, no chasing.
Is it safe?+
Every host is identity-verified and every driver has a profile. Sessions are logged, payments are held securely, and reviews keep the community honest.
Can I cancel a booking?+
Yes. You can cancel any pending or upcoming booking from the app. Cancellation windows and refund rules are shown before you confirm.
What charger types are supported?+
Hosts can list Type 2 AC chargers from 3 kW to 22 kW. Support for DC fast chargers is on the roadmap.
